What if there was a place...

Ever since I played portal 2 on the release date, I have taken a weird kind of intrest in... it's hard to explain, but like government experiments gone wrong. If you have ever played portal 2, you travel through these quarantined test chambers that haven't been touched since the 70's, 80's, and 90's. I just started to realize my intrest for old mystery experiments when I was watching Lost the other day. At the end of season one, (SPOILER ALERT) you are introduced to the Dharma Initiative. Its this ancient experiment that is gone wrong. There is a black and white scratchy film video that you see, and it explains this sketchy idea of an experiment.
Anyways, back to the context of the title, I had this idea... What if there was a place that you would go to with your friends, similar to a laser tag type of situation, that was problem solving and mysterious experiment concepts. For example, you would walk into this room that had an object on a table with a spotlight. You and your friends would have to use that object, or other objects in the room to solve a problem (ex, a timer going off with a bad consequence and you have to stop it somehow). Your group has to solve the problem in order to continue on to the next stage. So just imagine it being like a grungy, old, un-touched since 1986 type of feeling. It would almost be like a replica of the Dharma Initiative, or a test chamber from the old stages in portal 2.
I'm not exactly sure if this is an original idea or not, but I think it would be wicked cool.
